Rules of the Game: Q4 2009

TDAA rules indicate a preference for smaller obstacles like a tunnel with a 16" diameter opening and an 8' teeter, but there is not much difference at all in the number of obstacles in a course. What is the maximum number of obstacles permitted in a TDAA Superior Agility Course?

b. 22
c. 12
d. 17

The answer to this one is (a.) 20. Even the smallest dogs entered are expected to complete 20 obstacles in a Teacup Dog Agility Association's Superior Agility Course.

RULES OF THE GAME Contest

Each Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. EST, we'll post a new question about agility organization rules and regulations. The answers will often be found in the rules posted at each of the "popular agility organizations in the U.S." listed in the March 23, 2009 post. The first person to answer the question correctly wins a $5 credit to be applied toward lessons, run-thrus, or field use fees. (Note: The credit cannot be applied to guest instructor lesson fees, but can be applied to field use fees incurred during guest instructor lessons.) Submitted answers must be posted as a comment to the "question of the day," and must include the person's name -- either in the text or as a signature. The correct answer and winner for each question will be posted the following day. If no comments are received in response to a question, the answer will be posted when the new question is posted and the previous question will be "closed." In order to maintain a fairly level playing field, any one person is permitted to win up to 8 times in a 6-month period. Credits earned must be used within the calendar year earned.

These rules are subject to change as needed. Indication of updates and changes will be posted on the "home" page of this site.
